LIT awards private sector partners with legacy membershp award

The distinction honors organizations that have supported LIT through membership over the past 10 years.

LIT is honoring its long-standing private sector partners with the inaugural LIT Legacy Membership Award to recognize the companies that helped build LIT's foundation.

After 10 years as a national organization, LIT has grown to serve almost 700 paid members across North America. Membership records began in 2020, with the paid membership program launching in 2021 and the current membership structure established in 2022.

During this time, LIT notes a group of companies continued to invest in LIT. Thanks to their continuous membership and support, LIT has been able to expand its leadership development, workforce trainings, scholarships, mentorship programs and networking events to serve transit professionals across the country.  

According to LIT, the Legacy Membership Award recognizes these private sector organizations that have had a lasting impact throughout LIT's first decade. The 2026 LIT Legacy Membership Award honorees include:

These honorees will be recognized during LIT's 10-year anniversary gala, taking place as part of the LIT Leadership Summit in Columbus, Ohio.
