New departure infformation screens have been installed by Metrolinx on a number of GO Train platforms at Toronto’s Union Station to help make navigating the transit hub a bit easier.
Screens are being installed along platforms 4 through 13. The new screens display information that is specific to each platform rather than the general information that is provided on the screens in the concourses. Metrolinx says this ultimately provides more information to customers and improves people’s overall experience.
The new information screens, along with soon-to-be installed CCTV screens, will replace the existing older-model screens currently at platform level.
