TN: Nashville Transit Boosters Launch TV Ad Blitz Through May 1 Referendum

A business-led coalition and political action committee that is pushing for approval of Nashville's $5.4 billion transit plan has released its first set of television ads, with plans to run them through the transit referendum election on May 1.

A business-led coalition and political action committee that is pushing for approval of Nashville's $5.4 billion transit plan has released its first set of television ads, with plans to run them through the transit referendum election on May 1.

The Transit For Nashville Coalition has turned to a cross-section of Nashvillians and community leaders — including two elected officials, Davidson County Criminal Court Clerk Howard Gentry and County Clerk Brenda Wynn — to tout the light rail-based plan in a new 30-second spot that began airing on Wednesday.
