Denver RTD to complete overhead wire replacement between Englewood and Littleton

May 17, 2022
Crews will replace overhead wires at Littleton/Mineral Station beginning May 19.

The Denver Regional Transportation District (RTD) plans to perform necessary maintenance that will impact light-rail service on the D Line between Englewood and Littleton/Mineral stations May 19-20.

Crews will replace overhead wires at Littleton/Mineral Station beginning May 19. Regular service will resume May 21. During the scheduled work, D Line trains will not operate on their regular routes. The trains will only run between downtown Denver and Englewood Station.

Customers whose trips are impacted by the rail closure are encouraged to park at the Englewood Park-n-Ride to access rail service to and from downtown, or explore alternate routes, including bus Route 0.

Bus shuttles will serve the D Line between Littleton/Mineral and Englewood Stations. Bus shuttle wait times for the D Line may exceed 30 minutes, and customers are encouraged to explore alternate methods of travel to avoid potential delays.

RTD’s C Line rail service remains suspended per the agency’s COVID-19 Service Plan.

Use the Next Ride web app to plan a trip and see bus and train locations in real time. Customers are also encouraged to sign up for Service Alerts for specific route information.
