MARTA to begin track replacement work on Airport Rail station Oct. 4

As part of the Track Replacement Program, MARTA is investing approximately $225 million in State of Good Repair work on its heavy rail lines.

In October, the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) will begin track replacement work on Airport rail station as part of its Track Replacement Program, a multi-year effort to replace track and switches throughout the rail system.

Track replacement work is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 27 and Nov. 3.

Customers traveling on the Red and Gold Lines during work times may experience delays Customers traveling from the airport to Buckhead, Medical Center, Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, or North Springs Stations after 8:30 p.m. will need to transfer to the Red Line at Lindbergh Center Station during work times.
