MN: Peterson Named Senior Engineering Manager for Parsons Brinckerhoff

David F. Peterson has been named a senior engineering manager in the Minneapolis office of Parsons Brinckerhoff.

David F. Peterson has been named a senior engineering manager in the Minneapolis office of Parsons Brinckerhoff.

In his new position, Peterson will be responsible for design and construction of rail projects in Minnesota and the upper Midwest, including light rail, streetcar, and freight rail. He has 30 years of experience with design and construction of railroad, transit, and other public works projects.

Prior to joining Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was an associate director for a consulting engineering firm in Australia responsible for design of coal railway projects. In addition, he previously managed engineering design projects for the Central Corridor and Hiawatha light rail systems in Minneapolis.

Peterson received a B.S. in civil engineering from Purdue University. He is a member of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association and the Permanent Way Institution.
