Trinity Metro is making getting to the polls a little easier for Tarrant County residents this election season by offering eligible riders a trip to and from the polls free of charge.

The transit authority’s “Let's Ride to Vote!” campaign will provide free public transportation to residents voting in Tarrant County during early voting from Oct. 19 to 30 and on Election Day Nov. 3. The offer includes Trinity Metro buses, bikes, On-Demand rideshare, paratransit, TEXrail and Trinity Railway Express services within Tarrant County.

All service hours and areas will remain unchanged. Riders are encouraged to look at their specific routes schedule for detailed information.

“Connecting people to the places that matter in their lives is what we do every day,” said Richard Andreski, president and CEO of Trinity Metro. “‘Let’s Ride to Vote!’ is another way we can make those connections easier for our customers. Voting is your choice. Getting there is on us.”

Riders can use the GoPass app and enter the promotional code “VOTE26” to receive one complimentary Trinity Metro Local Day Pass, and activate the pass when they are ready to board. For those without app access, they can visit the customer service kiosk at Fort Worth Central Station and request a paper day pass.

The same promotional code applies for the Trinity Metro Bikes app, providing customers with a free-ride offer.

Customers booking On-Demand rideshare or paratransit trips to an early voting or polling location within the service zone will receive a free round-trip ride automatically.

On Election Day, customers can notify drivers or train conductors that they are going to or from a polling location and redeem a free ride.

Proof of voting and identification is not required to participate in the complimentary ride services.
