Grande West Announces First Quebec Public Transit Order

Through a competitive bid process, Grande West received its first public transit order in the province of Quebec for a total of fifteen Vicinity buses to be delivered in 2018.

Grande West Transportation is pleased to announce a new Vicinity order for approximately $6 million CAD ($4.76 million).

•   8 for Société de transport du Saguenay (STS)

•   4 for Société de transport de Lévis (STL)

•   3 for Société de transport de Trois-Rivières (STTR)

Jean-Marc Landry, VP business development of Grande West stated, “We are very excited to welcome STS, STL and STTR to our growing list of customers. We believe there is huge potential for “right sizing” of public transit fleets in the province of Quebec after many decades of buying mostly larger 40’ buses. Backlog: Current total firm orders for Q4 2017 through 2018 delivery are for over two hundred ninety four buses valued at over $112 million CAD ($88.93 million).
