The Westmoreland County Transit Authority (WCTA) is considering adding bus routes from Greensburg to Monessen and West Newton.
On June 21, board members of the transit authority reviewed a comprehensive study of authority operations that was submitted by Michael Baker International, a Pittsburgh-based engineering and consulting services company.
The five-year transit development plan (TDP) identified nine opportunities for improving public transportation in Westmoreland County, including adding bus service to Monessen and West Newton.
