The Toronto Transit Commission is rolling out another custom Metropass for March. On sale now through Monday, Mar. 5, this month's pass features an image of a street mural created in 2007 by artist Jose Ortega for the Dundas West BIA.
The artist created the mural to unite existing businesses and neighbours in the area with new businesses and incoming residents. He wanted to see Dundas West evolve into a vibrant community with abundant green space and was inspired to create the colourful image attached.
This Metropass is part of a 2018 series that features images of different 'distinctly Toronto' murals from GTA neighbourhoods.
Metropasses are available for purchase at collector booths and participating TTC fare agents and are $146.25 for adults and $116.75 for seniors (65+), students (13-19) and post-secondary students with valid ID.
The TTC reminds customers that monthly passes for adults and seniors are also available on PRESTO at the same prices.
