BC Transit announced new bus stops are available as of Jan. 3. As part of the Health Connections program, a new stop has added to the Nicola Meadows Seniors Residence at 2670 Garcia Street. Health Connections provides communities with accessible transportation options to medical appointments through a booking service.
The other new bus stops will be located near Barkman Concrete and the Merritt Green Energy Plant. One stop will be located on Houston Street at Midday Valley Road. The second stop will be located on Midday Valley Road at Houston. These stops will serve route 23 Collettville - Diamond Vale. Flag stops will be in place at these locations until the permanent bus stop signs are installed.
