A woman who fell in front of a moving streetcar Tuesday after suffering a heart attack, leaving her pinned underneath, has died, officials said.

A woman who fell in front of a moving streetcar Tuesday after suffering a heart attack, leaving her pinned underneath, has died, officials said.
The accident was reported before 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Washington and St. Charles avenues, the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority said.
Investigators said the woman was standing on the sidewalk when she suffered a heart attack near the streetcar tracks. She collapsed and fell beneath the streetcar, which deployed a safety mechanism preventing her from being run over.
