Bruhnke's safety expertise will bring valuable insight to the rail contracting association's board.

The National Railroad Construction & Maintenance Association (NRC) has appointed Erika Bruhnke, vice president of Training Services with RailPros, to its Board of Directors.

Bruhnke spent 12 years with a Class 1 freight railroad, starting as a management trainee and progressing into safety positions before joining RailPros in 2018. In her current position, she leads RailPros training and media services divisions. NRC says her railroad safety and training expertise will be invaluable.

“Erika Bruhnke is a tremendous addition to the NRC board,” says James. R. Hansen, chairman of the NRC Board of Directors. “She has vital experience developing safety processes and training that don’t merely support field operations but also integrate employee ownership and participation. Her passion for safety will be particularly valuable as the NRC strives to provide our member contractors and suppliers with impactful resources to enhance safety in our industry.”

Bruhnke joins 19 other railway industry professionals who serve on the NRC Board, with responsibility for governing the association, setting its guidelines and policies and overseeing its programs and activities.
