Cindy Resor has been named interim chief financial officer of Cincinnati Metro.
In this role, she will be responsible for overseeing the transit agency’s $121.5 million operating budget, capital program, grants administration, financial reporting, treasury management activities and investments.
Resor is an accomplished financial professional with nearly 30 years of accounting and finance experience. She joined Cincinnati Metro in 2017 as manager of accounting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A). In 2018, she was promoted to the role of senior manager of accounting, FP&A, then, in 2019, to the role of director of FP&A.
Prior to Cincinnati Metro, Resor worked in various industries, primarily in financial reporting and analysis roles.
“Cindy brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to this role,” said Cincinnati Metro CEO and General Manager Darryl Haley. “Since joining Metro, she has worked extensively on the 10-year operating and capital projections supporting the Reinventing Metro vision. Cindy also has proven her ability to work with all levels of the organization and across departments by managing the annual budget process. I know she will continue to make significant contributions as interim CFO.”
Resor has previously served as treasurer on the board of the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University.
