Alstom has appointed Thierry Parmentier as its new senior vice president human resources effective April 18, 2017. As part of his role, he will also be in charge of Environment, Health, Safety and sustainable development. He will report to Alstom Chairman and CEO Henri Poupart-Lafarge and be a member of Alstom Executive Committee.
Thierry Parmentier holds a Master’s degree in law from Paris II University. From 1989 to 2003, he held various HR and operational positions at Schlumberger. From 2004 to 2005, he was VP HR for Europe at ATOS. In 2005, Thierry joined Faurecia as VP HR Business group (seating), a position he held for four years. In 2008, Thierry Parmentier joined Technip, an engineering company in the energy sector part of the French CAC 40, as human resources director.
