Capital Area Transit Elects 2017 Board Officers

Capital Area Transit (CAT) board of directors recently elected officers to service for 2017, according to an announcement released by board Chairman Eric Bugaile.

Capital Area Transit (CAT) board of directors recently elected officers to service for 2017, according to an announcement released by board Chairman Eric Bugaile.

The officers elected by the board of directors are: Chairman Eric Bugaile, representing Dauphin County; Vice-Chairman Richard D. Kotz, representing the city of Harrisburg; Secretary Elizabeth Benion, representing Dauphin County; Treasurer Mike Clapsadl, representing Cumberland County; Assistant Treasurer Chad Saylor, representing Dauphin County, and Scott T. Wyland, Esq., was appointed to serve on the board representing Cumberland County. 

Jill E. Nagy, Esq., serves as Counsel to the board and one board position, representing the city of Harrisburg, remains vacant pending appointment by the city.

“Capital Area Transit has a strong board representing each jurisdiction in the CAT service area and our officers provide the leadership necessary to plan for the future transit needs of the approximately two million riders CAT serves annually.” Chairman Bugaile, executive director of the PA House of Representatives Majority Transportation Committee, said in making the announcement.
