rabbittransit held a Dedication and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for its newly renovated Central Operations and Maintenance facility on Thursday, October 13, 2016, at 415 Zarfoss Drive. rabbittransit staff and the Board of Directors joined community stakeholders, legislators and partners to mark the occasion.
The renovated property allows for a much needed expansion to house vehicles and administrative staff supporting a multi-county regional transit operation and call center. The location was a former Pfaltzgraff distribution center that began major renovations in June 2015.
The new site is equipped for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and will house a CNG public fueling station in late 2017. The 160,000 square foot location will also allot part of its property grounds for a West Manchester Township soccer field for public use to begin as early as spring of 2017.
