ABQ Ride's Northwest Transit Center, located on the northwest corner of Ellison and Coors Bypass reopens Monday, July 25, 2016.  That means buses will no longer need to pick up and drop off passengers on Cibola Loop, near the Transit Center entrance.

The Transit Center closed for two weeks to repair the pavement in the driveway and portions of the bus turnaround area.  During construction, both the lower parking lot and passenger platform were closed on weekdays, with only the upper parking lot open. The entire facility had been closed for two weekends.

This means routes such as the #96-Crosstown Commuter, #155-Coors, #157-Montano/Uptown/Kirtland and #790-Rapid Ride/Blue Line will once again operate normally out of the Northwest Transit Center.  And routes such as #251-ABQ/Rio Rancho/Rail Runner Connection , #551-Jefferson/Paseo del Norte Express, #92-Taylor Ranch Express, #94-Unser Commuter and #98- Wyoming Commuter will go back to entering the Transit Center using the driveway off Cibola Loop.

Passengers can also enter the Transit Center once again using the driveway off Cibola Loop and park in either the upper or lower parking lot.
