Escalon eTrans to resume operations on Feb. 21.

In mid-January, eTrans signed a one-year contract with MTM Transit to allow Escalon Calif., residents to receive transportation at a lower cost than previously paid to the Stanislaus Regional Transit Authority.

eTrans in Escalon, Calif., will resume operations on Feb. 21.

On Jan. 17, the city council approved a new one-year contract with MTM Transit, LLC, the current operator of the Tracy TRACER transit system to operate eTrans. This partnership with MTM and city of Tracy will provide the opportunity for Escalon residents to receive transportation at a lower cost than previously paid to the Stanislaus Regional Transit Authority.

eTrans operates Monday-Friday, excluding holidays from 8:12 a.m. to 5:12 p.m. For using Escalon Dial-A-Ride, passengers can call 209.541.6645 at least 15 minutes in advance for door-to-door service within the city limits of Escalon and to Jacob Myers Park in Riverbank, where passengers can transfer to The S Demand Response – Riverbank Dial-A-Ride service.

For using Route 35, passengers can board the bus at anyone of the eTrans bus stop signs in Escalon or north Modesto for travel between Escalon Park and Ride Lot and Vintage Faire Mall, three times a day, departing Escalon at 8:12 a.m., 1:12 p.m. and 4:12 p.m. Connections to The S and Ripon Blossom Express is available at Vintage Faire Mall. Route 35 also deviates within a ¾ mile radius for anyone request door to door service.
