MV will provide paratransit and senior citizen transportation services under a five-year contract.

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) awarded a contract to MV Transportation, Inc. (MV) to provide paratransit and senior transportation services for RTC.

MV will provide ADA-compliant paratransit and senior citizen transportation services for the Las Vegas and Clark County communities under the five-year contract.

“We are proud to expand our partnership with the RTC and provide this important service to persons with disabilities and the senior community of Las Vegas,” said MV CEO Tom Egan. “We look forward to leveraging our extensive best practices, local community partnerships and advanced technology to continuously improve safety, reliability and customer experience.”

The company will be responsible for all aspects of service including operations, facility and vehicle maintenance, dispatch and safety.

The new contract expands the scope of MV’s partnership with RTC. MV has provided senior transportation services, including Silver STAR and Flexible Demand Response transit services, since 2014, and community-based fixed route services since 2013, for which MV is one of two contractors operating services for the Las Vegas Valley.

“We look forward to working with MV Transportation on our continued commitment to provide safe and reliable transportation to our paratransit and senior customers,” said RTC Deputy CEO MJ Maynard.
