The city of Montevallo, in the metro Birmingham area, is launching a pilot transit bus service that will run from August to December.
The city is partnering with the Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority and the University of Montevallo on the project.
The bus will run Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
