Winnipeg Transit is set to add more measures to help improve the safety of its drivers and passengers.
In a release on Thursday, Transit said will be adding five new transit inspectors on the street and on buses as part of its ongoing commitment to safety.
Each inspector is a highly-trained former driver, who Transit says is “uniquely positioned to be a resource for both operators and passengers.”
