Ultimate Transportation Equipment showcased its doors at InnoTrans 2016. Ultimate offers a full range of doors, including plug sliding doors, sliding doors, drivers cab doors, interior doors, moveable steps and ramps.
The design, function and physical characteristics, such as sound insulation, fire protection and heat transfer properties, are adapted to the respective customer specifications and are optimized in terms of cost.
Ultimate doors are constantly adapted to meet all the latest relevant applicable standards. Current standards include Interoperability TSI, Fire EN45545, Door EN14752 and VDV111, Software EN50128 and Safety EN50129.
For the ultimate in obstruction detection, the encoder on the motors have about 25,000 pulses and it only has to miss one and it stops the door.
Total Interior
Interior solutions from engineering to the finished product offer a total Ultimate interior. Based on technical specifications and carbody drawing, Ultimate offers complete engineering solutions for total interior applications. From fulfilling current standards over fast mounting concepts to flexible logistics flows, Ultimate engineers have a holistic view of the project.
Ultimate offers expertise in the manufacturing of GRP parts, thermoplast parts and aluminum, sandwich construction, super lightweight solutions. Ultimate operates its own mould production for GRP products, which are checked by using state-of-the-art 3D measuring instruments.
Gangways
A wide range of gangways, suitable for all types of articulated and non-articulated vehicles, are available from Ultimate: Folding bellows, single corrugated bellows, double corrugated bellows, interior panelling, floor systems, air ducts or cable support systems, compact upper and lower articulation systems for light rail.
Design, noise insulation, fire safety and thermal insulation are adjusted to the client's particular specification with a focus on best price. Ultimate has developed a special movement analysis software, which can evaluate and simulate all envisaged vehicle movements, already in the design phase. The software can also be used later on Ultimate's six axis test bench to confirm all results of initial evaluations through movement and endurance testing and finally proves the product safety and product liability.
