Customers were able to make an easy connection to VTA’s Light Rail trains, which took them to Levi’s Stadium. Both systems worked closely throughout the planning effort to communicate with customers and out-of-towners to be sure game day riders made it to the game safely and on time.

Caltrain’s fleet operated on schedule throughout the morning.

Caltrain’s game day performance comes the day after the system served more than 15,000 trips between events in San Francisco and Santa Clara on Saturday, Feb. 6.  To accommodate the significant increase in demand, Caltrain added 13 trains to its regular schedule on Saturday.

The system is planning to provide expanded service post-game. With specials lined up to carry Super Bowl fans home as soon as the final down is played.
