Tad Widby has been named deputy regional business manager for the U.S. West region of Parsons Brinckerhoff.

Tad Widby has been named deputy regional business manager for the U.S. West region of Parsons Brinckerhoff.

In his new position, Widby will work with managers in Parsons Brinckerhoff’s offices in the west to enhance relationships with key clients, expand business development opportunities, and invigorate marketing and pursuit efforts.  He will continue to work in the firm’s Sacramento office.

A senior vice president with 23 years’ experience at Parsons BrinckerhoffWidby has served as project manager for a wide range of transportation planning and transportation demand management projects and has worked on state and metropolitan transportation plans in Delaware, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Idaho, California, and Hawaii, as well as managed lane and high-occupancy toll lane projects in the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, and Central Valley regions.

Widby holds a B.A. in geography and urban studies from the University of California at Riverside.  He is a member of the Association for Commuter Transportation, the Transportation Research Board, American Planning Association, and Institute of Transportation Engineers.
