The new bridge will extend from Eaglewood Boulevard in the east to Oriole Avenue in the west and replace the existing bridge over the creek at Inglewood Drive.

Construction for a new Mississauga bridge is underway over Mary Fix Creek in Ontario, Canada. The new bridge will extend from Eaglewood Boulevard in the east to Oriole Avenue in the west and replace the existing bridge over the creek at Inglewood Drive. This crossing will ensure better traffic flow and coordination with the Hazel McCallion Line, which is expected to open in 2024.

Replacing the bridge

As part of construction of the new bridge over the creek, crews conducted piling activities adjacent to Oriole Avenue by drilling steel or concrete into the ground to provide strength and stability for major construction to take place.

Piling activities wrapped up last month and next steps include construction of the bridge foundations and installation of the precast girders to support the new roadway.
