Metrolinx’s Crosstown LRT progresses with installation of escalator

Metrolinx construction crews have installed escalators at the Eglinton Crosstown Light-Rail Transit (LRT) stop at Caledonia.

New images from the project capture the task of workers as they recently pulled escalators to the upper concourse using chains.

As well, hard work continues at the west end of the Crosstown line, with a new photo that shows crews installing snow melting tubing which will heat up the platforms from below in the winter.
