Tennessee Public Transportation Association names Rosenfeld as Urban Executive of the Year

This honor is given to CEOs or general managers that have demonstrated a deep commitment to furthering the goal of improving public transportation in Tennessee.

Memphis Area Transit Authority(MATA) Chief Executive Officer Gary Rosenfeld was named the Urban Executive of the Year Award from the Tennessee Public Transportation Association(TPTA). This honor is given to CEOs or general managers that have demonstrated a deep commitment to furthering the goal of improving public transportation in Tennessee.

"This prestigious statewide recognition would not be possible without our employees' commitment to quality service in public transportation," said  Rosenfeld. "Thank you to the Tennessee Public Transportation Association for recognizing our passion to create an exceptional transit experience in Memphis."

Tennessee Public Transportation Association evaluated Rosenfeld's management skills, public relations, employee relations, and leadership at MATA. TPTA is a non-profit statewide organization dedicated to improving public transportation in all Tennessee communities.
