Endera adds Bill Williams as executive vice president of business development

Williams will be responsible for Endera’s overall sales strategy, market expansion, electric vehicle adoption education and customer engagement.

Bill Williams has joined Endera as executive vice president of business development.

In this role, Williams will be responsible for Endera’s overall sales strategy, market expansion, electric vehicle adoption education and customer engagement. Williams will also lead the implementation of a national sales, distribution and service structure for Endera.

“As a true EV expert, collaborator and thought-leader in the commercial EV industry, Bill will provide Endera with new business opportunities that will help the company achieve our growth goals,” said Todd Harman, president of Endera. “We’re looking forward to Bill leading our sales team, connecting with customers and utilizing his 25 years of EV expertise to help Endera rapidly expand.”

Most recently, Williams’ advised Envision AESC on market expansion. Before that, Williams was the national director of commercial sales at Proterra, Inc., where he focused on City Transit, Commuter Shuttle/Transportation solutions at all airports, universities and corporations. Prior to joining Proterra, he spent six years working on EV infrastructure for airports, commercial buildings and universities, as well as smart city projects. Williams also worked with Elon Musk and the SpaceX team to install level 1 charging in their parking structure for employees.

Williams has been active with the Electric Drive Transportation Association and NAFA Fleet Management Association, General Services Administration, Federal Fleet Policy Council and Clean Cities Coalitions throughout the US.

Williams is an accomplished presenter at large conferences and governments, including The Pentagon, U.S. Department of Transportation and the U.S. Department of Energy.
