Dallas Area Rapid Transit names new VP of internal audit
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) has named Chris Koloc as the new vice president of internal audit where he will manage and review all audit function, including operational audits, IT outsourced audits, incurred cost audits of contractors and proactive work.
Koloc, a 30-year veteran of the banking, professional services and transportation industries, served most recently as the assistant vice president of internal audit at DART and oversaw performance and financial-related audits for the agency.
Prior to DART he worked at Southwest Airlines as a manager within the internal audit department. He oversaw the overall Sarbanes-Oxley compliance efforts. He also led multiple teams on operational audits and projects, Accretive Solutions (now Resources Global Professionals) on engagements within the mortgage lending and professional services industries, in internal audit at Bank of America, and as a staff auditor with Matson Driscoll & Damico CPA where he prepared tax returns and performed loss and valuation audits.
Koloc is a certified CPA and is affiliated with the American Institute of Public Accountants, as well as the Institute of Internal Auditors.
