Transdev has announced that Arthur Rader has been hired as the vice president of business development for the Northeast Region.

“Arthur brings an excellent sales background and intimate knowledge of the transit industry and will certainly hit the ground running,” said Senior Vice President of Business Development Rob Mowat. “This is an exciting time to bring him to the team as we look to further expand our impressive business in the Northeast.”

Most recently, Rader served as vice president of sales for DILAX Systems, an IT company that works with public transit agencies to understand the movement of people in and out of transit networks. Prior to that he served as vice president of passenger sales for Nomad Digital. He has also served for five years in different capacities for Bombardier Transportation and Jeppesen Sanderson. His extensive experience and focus on technology in transportation will support his efforts to maintain and grow the business in this region.

Rader will be responsible for a region with tremendous growth potential that features some of the company's largest contracts in Baltimore and Washington, D.C., as well as Nassau County, where our historic public-private operating partnership, the Nassau Inter-County Express transit network, serves as the delegated transit agency in service to the County.
