Brandy Jones Named Cincinnati Metro's External Affairs Director

Brandy Jones, APR, has been promoted to the role of external affairs director at Cincinnati Metro.

In this role, Jones serves as the organizations spokesperson, and is responsible for overseeing Metro’s public relations, social media, employee communications, website management, and community engagement efforts.

Jones has more than a decade of public relations and communications experience and has held several roles within the agency including internal communications coordinator, public relations manager, and most recently, external affairs manager. Prior to Metro, she served as an account coordinator at the Kevin Wilson Public Relations Agency.

She is a graduate of Xavier University and has a degree in Communications: Public Relations and holds an Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) credential. She has received numerous awards for her public relations work, including several Blacksmith Awards from the Cincinnati Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and is a 2016 recipient of the “Top 40 Under 40” award by Mass Transit Magazine. Jones also serves as president of the Cincinnati chapter of the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO).
