Human Resources Generalist

General Description:
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of Human Resource functions to include: recruitment, employee benefits, policies, employee relations, training and development, compensation, and performance management.
Essential Functions:
- Identifies and attracts key technical industry talent.
- Establishes and develops relationships with engineering colleges / universities to attract interns, co-ops, and graduates to grow the organization.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive talent marketing and advertising strategy, to include: identifying talent pools, attending job fairs, industry outreach events, etc.
- Update and maintain organizational charts.
- Create, update, and maintain job descriptions.
- Manage applicant portal to include: posting jobs, reviewing candidate credentials, and final disposition of candidates.
- Responsible for updating and maintaining Company resume database.
- Produce and update monthly HR reports.
- Manage the annual review process.
- Respond to HR related inquiries.
- Assists with market research tasks, as needed.
Required Minimum Education, Licenses & Work Experience:
- BA & BS in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or related field (equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of bachelors).
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Human Resources, preferably in an A/E/C or professional services firm, or public transit.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
- Be available and committed to work more than 40 hours as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and manage to time, budget and other expectations.
