SYVT Enhances Local Bus Service

Santa Ynez Valley Transit announced enhanced service, effective July 2, on the Express Route and Los Olivos Loop. A third bus has been incorporated into the fixed-route schedule resulting in more service at those times when residents most want to travel.

The enhanced service includes:

• Eight trips from Solvang to Los Olivos with connections from Buellton. This helps meet the needs of local youth traveling from Santa Ynez Valley High School to Los Olivos.
• Free transfers from the Express Route to the Los Olivos Loop at Solvang Park.
• More Express Route service between Buellton, Solvang, and Santa Ynez to address the needs of residents using SYVT to travel to and from work.
