Other changes to riders include:

  • Minor timing changes will be made to Route 17, 22, and 24.
  • Stops discontinued and shelters removed at Westbound stops at Ohio/Pierson & Ohio/Pennsylvania.

Eastbound stops across Ohio Street will not be affected. All affected riders should use the Ohio/Meridian stop starting June 10.

“By June, there will be more than 450 weekly transit trips added this year,” said IndyGo president and CEO, Mike Terry. “We are excited as these improvements, along with the groundbreaking for Red Line construction, are a significant gain in momentum for the implementation of the Marion County Transit Plan.”

The Transit Plan will bring a 70 percent increase in IndyGo services and build a strong network of frequent service. Improvements in the plan include shorter wait times, longer service hours, easier transfers, and rapid transit lines along high ridership corridors.
