C-TRAN Offering Fare-Free Service All Day Veterans Day, November 11

In honor of those who serve, C-TRAN is offering fare-free service for everyone across its entire system on Veterans Day, November 11. The fare-free day will apply to all C-TRAN routes and services, including Local, Regional and Express routes, plus C-VAN and the Connector.

On the same day, C-TRAN will also participate in the Veterans Day Parade at Fort Vancouver, where its patriotic bus will be part of the parade line-up. C-TRAN painted Coach 1776 more than a decade ago as one small way to salute its local veterans. On the back of the vehicle are these words: Dedicated to our community by the employees of C-TRAN. The Veterans Day parade begins at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 11, starting at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site.

C-TRAN appreciates the men and women who serve or have served in the United States armed forces. There are veterans on C-TRAN's team who help keep this operation running every day.

On Friday, November 10, C-TRAN’s administrative offices will be closed in observance of the holiday. Customer Service offices and the C-TRAN Call Center will be open regular hours, however, and buses will follow their normal weekday schedules.
