Cincinnati Metro will join transit agencies around the country on June 15 for the 12th Annual Dump the Pump Day, which encourages people to ride public transportation instead of driving a car.

Cincinnati Metro will join transit agencies around the country on June 15 for the 12th Annual Dump the Pump Day, which encourages people to ride public transportation instead of driving a car.

Metro is asking the community to help spread the word about the many benefits of public transportation and to ride Metro to show how public transportation saves riders money and helps them reduce their environmental footprint.

According to the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), public transportation:
