The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) has announced the selection of The Ohio State University and Auburn University to receive up to $3 million in FY2016 funding though the Low and No-Emission Component Assessment Program (LoNo-CAP).
Both universities will conduct testing, evaluation, and analysis of low or no emission (LoNo) components intended for use in LoNo transit buses used to provide public transportation. Auburn University and The Ohio State University were selected due to their demonstrated capacity to carry out transportation-related advanced component testing and evaluation, including effective facilities, laboratories, and partnerships.
