This year's celebration will be held at Lenny Harris Memorial Fields at Braddock Park, 1005 Mt. Vernon Ave., on Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This year's celebration will be held at Lenny Harris Memorial Fields at Braddock Park, 1005 Mt. Vernon Ave., on Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This year's theme is "Choose to Reuse - Your Choices Matter". The event will include educational exhibits, demonstrations and hands-on activities for all ages.

The event will also feature the Upcycling Showcase, where students will showcase their creative interpretation of Earth Day through literature, fashion, visual arts and performing arts.

Leave Your Car at Home this Earth Day! - DASH is encouraging the public to take public transit, walk or bike to the event.

Dash will be offering free rides for the Earth Day Event on the Dash AT2, AT5 or AT10 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 30. Click on the passes below to print and present to the driver for your free ride. One set of passes per rider.

Take the Metrorail Yellow or Blue lines to the Braddock Road Station located nearby.
