Psomas is pleased to announce the appointments of Teddy Bolden II and Cliff Simental as principals of the firm.

Bolden, vice president in the Psomas Santa Clarita, Calif., office, has 35 years of experience covering site development, forward planning, and business development for public and private projects and the energy market in Los Angeles, Ventura, and Kern Counties.

Acting as an agent for several residential developers throughout his career, Bolden’s specialty is developing and maintaining close working relationships with public and private stakeholders to assist clients throughout the complex development process. Bolden’s expertise includes providing feasibility studies, land planning, public/private joint ventures, project financing and contract administration, cost control, scheduling, and construction monitoring services.

Bolden is member of the American Council of Engineering Companies, the American Public Works Association, and the Society of American Military Engineers.

Cliff Simental, PLS, serves as vice president and survey team leader in Psomas’ Inland Empire office. He is a registered professional land surveyor with 38 years of surveying experience throughout California.

He has a broad background in performing design, construction, topographic, boundary, Right of Way Engineering, and cadastral surveys. Simental has served as project manager for survey contracts for California state agencies as well as numerous local agencies, federal entities, and private sector clients. Among other projects, Simental is currently managing Psomas’ contract for surveying services on a 250-Megawatt solar farm in the Mojave Desert.

A registered professional land surveyor in California and Nevada, Simental is a graduate of the American Council of Engineering Companies Senior Executives Institute. He is a California State Director representing ACEC’s Riverside/San Bernardino chapter, and an active member of the California Land Surveyors Association, the Construction Management Association of America, and American General Contractors.
