The Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority's board officially voted to terminate Barbara Murdock from the executive director role.

The Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority's board officially voted to terminate Barbara Murdock from the executive director role.
The vote was 6-1-2, with Director Patrick Sellers giving the lone "no" vote and Director Ted Smith and Board Chair Darryl Cunningham, who joined the board last month, abstaining.
Murdock's attorney as said Murdock is exploring all options in response to her termination, including litigation.
