York Adams Transportation Authority (rabbittransit) is a Pennsylvania transit authority covering three counties providing more than 2 million trips in fiscal year 2012-13, including fixed route, paratransit, and commuter bus service. We have experienced dynamic change recently with new software and programs. We are looking to fill this newly created position to help us meet new challenges and continue our success.
COO responsibilities: Assist and support the Executive Director by providing executive level management oversight and strategic direction to the Authority’s Operations and Maintenance divisions. Analyze and implement policies and procedures; assist in the development and modification of the Authority’s short- and long-range plans; responsible for establishing metrics for analysis and implementation of change initiatives to meet service objectives. Accountable for special projects, Executive Director duties as assigned or acting in behalf of the Executive Director in his absence.
We are looking for someone with progressive management experience who has leadership skills and is well versed in metrics.
Salary range $75,000 to $90,000; plus excellent benefits package.
