Wheel Rail Seminars (WRS) has announced the dates and location of the WRI 2027 Rail Transit Conference. WRI 2027 Rail Transit, which includes a one-day principles of wheel/rail interaction course followed by a two-day seminar featuring presentations on how transit systems are managing vehicle and track-related issues, will be held Aug. 31 - Sept. 2, 2027, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Metrolinx, which plans, builds, operates and connects transportation in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area,, will be the local host for the conference.

As with previous hosts of the WRI Rail Transit conference, like Sound Transit in Seattle and Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority in Boston, Metrolinx will offer site visits and/or shop tours that provide insight into the work it is doing to manage and support the growth of the rail network and public transportation overall in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.
