eMirrors

Prevost introduces eMirros, powered by Smart-Vision from Vision Systems North America, Inc., the first electronic side mirror system in the North American motorcoach industry. With cameras and screens instead of traditional mirrors, eMirrors offer a larger field of view, eliminating side-by-side blind spots in addition to improving visibility in nighttime, inclement weather conditions and challenging lighting. Internal Prevost testing estimates a 3 percent fuel economy savings through improved aerodynamics. eMirrors also don’t require costly repairs and downtown expenditures caused by damage to external mirrors in tight situations.
