CDTA Announces January Service Changes

The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) has announced a group of service changes that will go into effect on Jan. 24. The changes are highlighted by expanded weekend service for several Schenectady neighborhood routes in response to continued customer demand for more travel choices.

Service Enhancements:

  • Route #351 (VanVranken Avenue and Broadway): Saturday service will be extended from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
  • Route #353 (Scotia and Mt. Pleasant): Saturday service will be extended from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.; Sunday service will be extended from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
  • Route #354 (Rotterdam Square Mall and Nott Street): Saturday service will be extended from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
  • Route #370 (Troy/Schenectady): Sunday service will be extended from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m.. Service on weekday mornings will begin 5 minutes earlier (4:40 a.m.) to improve connections along the route.

Time Adjustments:

Minor time adjustments will be made to improve service reliability on the Route #522 Hudson River Express line. Please check new schedules to verify arrival and departure times.
