ABM Names New Treasurer

ABM on June 29 announced the appointment of Tom Gallo as the company's new vice president and treasurer. In this capacity, Gallo will be responsible for the company's cash and liquidity management, capital structure, and will lead all banking relationships associated with the company's syndicated credit facility.

"Along with his financial acumen, Tom brings nearly a decade of operational experience at ABM to this role," said Anthony Scaglione, ABM executive vice president and chief financial officer. "I am pleased to have someone with his financial skill and vast operational acumen stepping into this critical role as we seek to grow and reach our strategic goals."

In his 11-plus years with ABM, Gallo has held numerous roles with the company. In his most recent role as regional vice president for the onsite janitorial, security and facilities engineering businesses in New England, Connecticut and upstate New York, he grew revenues by 20 percent, while focusing on margin improvement and managing an employee base of 4,000. 

"I am honored by this appointment at such a critical time for ABM," said Gallo. "The company has made tremendous strides in recent years in solidifying our position in the marketplace, and I look forward to contributing to our continued growth in this new role."

Gallo is a graduate of Villanova University and has his MBA from Cornell University.
