MnDOT is answering the needs of the people who need bus services in rural parts of the state.
To meet the demands from riders and the state legislature goal of meeting 90 percent of the public transit need for greater Minnesota by 2025, MnDOT released a 20-year investment plan.
The investment means the state will invest in districts by awarding grants to help beef up their public transportation. This could mean on-site construction as well as operation grants.
