Speakers
Chuck Ebbets has years of experience working within the EV ecosystem where he has helped strategize smart and managed charging solutions, and engaged with relevant stakeholders needed to deploy large EV infrastructure projects. He is bp pulse’s Sales Manager in the fleet division, where he supports transit agencies across the nation in meeting their electrification goals.
Paula is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of expertise in financial and administrative management spanning various sectors including transportation, telecom, education, food, and manufacturing. Her background includes proficiency in software and network management, extensive involvement in ERP implementation, and the automation of financial and administrative processes. Paula is driven by her passion for sustainable energy, advocating for minimizing carbon footprint practices where possible. She has actively pursued this interest by engineering and constructing a small off grid microgrid for a cabin.
David heads the Transit Grants, Budget, and Procurement Division in the Bureau of Transit Programs. The Transit Grants, Budget, and Procurement Division ensures transit operations are adequately resourced to provide reliable and affordable service; manages capital budgets to maintain fleet and facility assets and meet the agency electrification goals as an earlier adopter of zero emission vehicles; and manages procurement processes to ensure the agency meets funding deadlines and the Bureau’s service goals. The Division also manages key compliance programs to ensure LADOT meets the grant terms of funding agencies such as Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
