Clarksville Transit System is requesting proposals from qualified sources to provide and deploy up-to date, ADA compliant fixed route software that includes automatic passenger counting abilities, rider alerts/announcements, & live vehicle tracking.

CTS is interested in updating processes that are currently in place, with the intent of improving the speed and accuracy by which fixed route operational data can be collected and used for planning and reporting purposes; and also in offering an improved experience for its riders, including real-time route information and automated stop announcements. As an option to this procurement CTS will collect information and pricing for on-board wifi on fixed route vehicles.

All vendors are encouraged to fully describe their recommended approach in terms of how it will assist CTS in meeting the goals of this project. Must be compliant with all Americans with Disabilities Act regulations and all other regulations for other funding sources, including but not limited to PHI and HIPPA.

The proposal should include introducing, supporting, and providing training on in-vehicle software and hardware, mobile applications, and reporting tools related to the integration of the software. The purpose in soliciting Request for Proposals (RFP) is to secure an offer(s) that will provide quality fixed route software to meet the service needs of fixed route transit services.  For more information, view the full packet below.
