ThinkTransit unites over 500 fixed route and paratransit professionals from more than 80 agencies across North America to think differently about transit industry trends, share knowledge with like-minded peers to solve challenges and advance their agencies by learning about the latest in transit technology and innovations.
ThinkTransit is the only transit technology conference hosted by a software leader in people transportation solutions, dedicated to discussing the changes disrupting the transit industry and how to solve them, while learning from transit industry thought leaders and peers.
"We’ve consistently heard from customers and partners that this event is so much more than a user conference – it’s the place they go to learn how to address the latest transit challenges; to get great ideas from their peer agencies; and to preview the latest in transit technology. It was time the name of the event accurately reflected what it’s truly about," said Kevin Bade, general manager, Trapeze Group NA.
The conference will feature:
- Over 120 industry-based sessions (including keynote presentations from top industry experts) on core issues affecting the agency, such as working effectively with transportation network companies, building smart and start-up cities and new ways to implement innovation in transit
- Technical tours hosted by local transit agencies
- More than 11 session tracks, both industry-based and hands-on technology training
One of last year’s most popular sessions, a transit version of Shark Tank, returns with a new twist: previously limited to paratransit, the revamped session is open for all modes of transit and, similarly to last year, invites transit professionals to submit ideas to a panel of judges (Trapeze staff and agency peers) for inclusion in product development.
